There were so many incredible new releases in 2022, and I didn’t get to read all the ones I wanted to! So this week I’m sharing my top 2022 releases that are still on my TBR.

- Lark & Kasim Start a Revolution by Kacen Callender: I love Kacen’s books and am so bummed that I never got around to reading this queer YA contemporary! I’m hoping to pick it up sometime in 2023.
2. Self-Made Boys by Anna-Marie McLemore: Anna-Marie is one of my all-time favorite authors and I’ve been really enjoying these remixed classics! I’m hoping to listen to the audiobook for this one.
3. An Arrow to the Moon by Emily XR Pan: Emily’s debut, The Astonishing Color of After, is one of my all-time favorite books! I bought a signed copy of this one as soon as it released, but it’s been sitting on my shelf ever since.

5. Right Where I Left You by Julian Winters: This one is pitched as Kacen Callender meets Becky Albertalli, which sounds kind of perfect, am I right?!
6. Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White: I’ve heard rave reviews from several friends about this spooky queer YA fantasy, and I’m hoping to finally read it soon!
7. The Signs and Wonders of Tuna Rashad by Natasha Deen: First of all, this cover is stunning and makes me want to pick it up ASAP! This romance with Caribbean rep sounds so cute.
8. This Wicked Fate by Kalynn Bayron: I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series, This Poison Heart, and I can’t believe I haven’t read the sequel yet!
9. The Life and Crimes of Hoodie Rosen by Isaac Blum: As a Jewish reader, I’m always looking for books with Jewish rep! This one features a character from an Orthodox Jewish background, which is something you don’t see a lot of in YA.
10. This Rebel Heart by Katherine Locke: Speaking of Jewish rep, here’s a historical fantasy novel that’s on my TBR! I am excited to check out the audiobook from my library and give this one a try.
What 2022 releases are still on your TBR?
