“Library Haul” is my weekly post where I share all the things I brought home from the library this week! One of my favorite things about being a librarian is bringing home stacks of exciting new reads: books I snagged as soon as they hit the “New arrivals” shelf, hidden gems I stumbled upon in the stacks, digital books I found on Libby, advanced readers copies that arrived in the mail, and more. Even though I don’t always get through all the reads I bring home, I’m excited to share them!
Space Boy Volume 5 by Stephen McCranie: this series is so mysterious and interesting, so I always get excited when my library gets a new volume!
New Kid by Jerry Craft: I’d been hearing amazing things about this one for the last year, but after it received the Newbery Medal I immediately requested it and checked it out!
Buffy: The High School Years – Freaks & Geeks by Faith Erin Hicks & Yishan Li: I’ll read pretty much anything related to Buffy, and when I spotted this on the shelf the other day, I realized this was one I hadn’t read yet!
Deathless Divide by Justina Ireland: I listened to Dread Nation last year and am curious to see where the series goes in this one! Bahni Turpin is my favorite audiobook narrator and I’ll listen to just about anything she reads. Checked out via the Libby app.
Infinity Son by Adam Silvera: I love Adam’s writing so even though I’m not normally a fantasy reader, I decided to check this out. Hopefully I’ll have time to give it a try! Checked out via the Libby app.
The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa: I love enemies to lovers romances and this one sounds so cute! Can’t wait to start this audiobook. Checked out via the Hoopla app.
Did you check out anything from your local library this week?
Oh wow I didn’t realize Space Boy had so many volumes! I read the first book last year and really want to reread it and continue the series. Happy reading 📖

Taking books out of the library is so addictive, and you’ve got some great picks – Infinity Son sounds like my kind of book! I volunteer at my local library every couple of weeks, and I sneakily hide any recently returned books that catch my eye as a stack shelves until the end of my shift 😅 weirdly I also posted a library haul today if you fancy a read: https://literaryfantasia.wordpress.com/2020/02/09/library-book-haul-feb20/
