Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where book bloggers are invited to share their top ten lists centered on a certain theme.
I’ve been super busy lately, so my blog posts have been a bit sporadic! I’m trying to get back in the swing of blogging, so I thought I’d take today’s TTT post as a chance to show y’all my 10 most recent reads.

- Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar: I adored Adiba’s debut, and this one was one of my most-anticipated reads of the year! I loved it just as much as I thought I would, and can’t wait for my pre-ordered finished copy to get here!
2. Pumpkin by Julie Murphy: I adored this YA contemporary about a queer fat teen discovering his drag persona. It was such a satisfying conclusion to the Dumplin’ series!
3. Ophie’s Ghosts by Justina Ireland: I really enjoyed Justina’s middle grade debut about a Black girl in the 1920s who can see ghosts. Plus, the audiobook was narrated by one of my faves, Bahni Turpin!
4. Off the Record by Camryn Garrett: This YA contemporary about a teen journalist uncovering a sexual abuse scandal in Hollywood was utterly un-put-downable! And I loved that it featured a fat, Black, bi protagonist.
5. Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean: Okay, this YA novel about a Japanese-American teen girl who discovers she’s a princess was amazing! This is easily one of my favorite contemporaries of the year.
6. The Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danan: This adult romance was sweet yet steamy, and I especially love that it explored Jewish identity in a layered way, and that it was sex-worker positive.
7. Blackbird Fly by Erin Entrada Kelly: Erin Entrada Kelly is one of my favorite middle grade authors, and I finally got around to reading her first book! It was so heart-warming and totally made me cry.
8. Where the Rhythm Takes You by Sarah Dass: This YA retelling of Jane Austen’s Persuasion set in Tobago was so atmospheric and full of longing! I really enjoyed it and know I’ll be recommending it a lot at my library.
9. Sugar and Spite by Gail D. Villanueva: I was so excited to read another middle grade novel set in the Philippines by Gail D. Villanueva! This one was such a compelling story about bullying, friendship, and Filipino magic.
10. Maybe Maybe Marisol Rainey by Erin Entrada Kelly: Erin’s newest release was such a cute illustrated kids’ read! I really enjoyed the whimsy of this one, and loved how it deals with facing our fears.

I’m excited to read OPHIE’S GHOSTS. It sounds excellent! I didn’t realize the audiobook was narrated by Turpin – now I’m definitely going to enjoy the book on audio.
Happy TTT!
