“It’s Monday! What are you reading?” is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date. The folks at Teacher Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers have given #IMWAYR a new lens by focusing on books for kids & teens. Check out their blogs to see what they’re reading!
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK:
- When the Stars Lead to You by Ronni Davis
- Martin McLean, Middle School Queen by Alyssa Zaczek
- Minus by Lisa Naffziger
When the Stars Lead to You was so heartbreaking but I already know the teens at my library will love it! Last week was super busy so I was glad to at least read something!
WHAT I’M READING THIS WEEK:
- Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
- Chosen by Kiersten White
- The Plain Janes by Cecil Castellucci & Jim Rugg
I’m diving into my January ARC pile! This week is sure to be busy with holiday celebrations, so I know I won’t be able to get to too much reading. But I’m hoping to at least read these 3 titles!
What are you reading this week?
Nice variety of books. I recently got Slayer by White but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I think I had the original Jane books in my library ages ago. I like that this is a compilation of the earlier two plus a new story. Happy holidays!

I really hope I can get my hands on When the Stars Lead to You in 2020. Looks and sounds good — like something I can share with my teen. Thanks for sharing, Ari! I’m posting very late this week and I missed the #imwayr link-up, but I’m here. Hope you’re having a great holiday!
