Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where book bloggers are invited to share their top ten lists centered on a certain theme.
This week’s theme was books with numbers in the title! I love looking at trends in titles, and it was so cool to see how many books there are with numbers in the title! For my list, I’m sharing books that are on my TBR, including backlist titles and upcoming releases!
1. The Rule of One by Ashley Saunders & Leslie Saunders: I’ve been wanting to read this YA book about twins forced to share a life because of a one-child policy since it was first released! Fun fact: my partner is an identical twin and HATES books about twins, so anytime I read a YA book about twins (which therew are a lot of–YA loves twins!) I’m in for a long rant about it.
2. Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman: This queer novella about a Jewish girl working in a yarn shop sounds super cute and has been on my TBR for a while. I adore the cat on the cover plus the knitting pun!
3. Three Sides of a Heart edited by Natalie C. Parker: I’ve had so many teens in my library ask for books about love triangles, and this one’s always a hit! I’m hoping to read it soon myself.
4. Four Days of You and Me by Miranda Kenneally: This 2020 release has the most adorable cover and I know I’ll be picking up a copy as soon as it comes out!
5. The Five Stages of Andrew Brawley by Shaun David Hutchinson: How have I not read this one?! Shaun is one of my favorite authors and I literally have this book on my shelf but just haven’t gotten around to reading it.
6. Six Goodbyes We Never Said by Candace Ganger: This YA contemporary with #OwnVoices OCD and GAD rep just released last week and I can’t wait to read it!
7. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid: I’m pretty sure I’m the only bookblogger/bookstagrammer who hasn’t read this one yet! I listened to the audiobook of Daisy Jones and the Six and definitely want to read more TJR.
8. The Last 8 by Laura Pohl: This queer YA sci-fi survival novel has already been a big hit at my library and I hope I have a chance to read it soon!
9. 9 Days and 9 Nights by Katie Cotugno: I’ve had all of Katie’s books on my TBR for a while, but the paperback covers that have recently been released has made me swoon all over again!
10. Ten Blind Dates by Ashley Elston: A YA Christmas rom-com? Heck yes!
What’s your favorite trend in book titles?
10 Blind Dates looks really adorable, I need to pick that one up.
