“Library Haul” is my weekly post where I share all the things I brought home from the library this week! One of my favorite things about being a librarian is bringing home stacks of exciting new reads: books I snagged as soon as they hit the “New arrivals” shelf, hidden gems I stumbled upon in the stacks, digital books I found on Libby, advanced readers copies that arrived in the mail, and more. Even though I don’t always get through all the reads I bring home, I’m excited to share them!
No physical check-outs for me this week, but plenty of digital items & ARCs to chat about!
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, audiobook narrated by Caitlin Kelly: This one has been super popular with the teens at my library and I’m excited to give it a try!
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan, audiobook narrated by Lynn Chen: I was on the holds list for this one for sooooo long and it’s finally my turn! It’s not something I’d normally read but it’s been recommended to me a lot.
Anger is a Gift by Mark Osano, audiobook narrated by the author: I’ve put this one on hold & checked it out numerous times, but never have the time to actually listen to it before it’s due. Hopefully, I’ll finally get to it this time!
The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory, audiobook narrated by Janina Edwards: After recently finishing The Wedding Date, I was eager to listen to another Jasmine Guillory romance!
Lovestruck by Kate Watson: I haven’t read anything from Kate before, but after winning this one in a giveaway, I’m excited to give it a try! Out on April 2.
Dealing in Dreams by Lilliam Rivera: Lilliam’s first novel was amazing, and I’m really enjoying this one so far! I’m about 100 pages in and can’t wait to see where this one goes. Out on March 5!
Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith: I’ve been waiting to start this super cute romance for so long, and am planning on starting it as soon as I finish Dealing in Dreams. Out on March 5!
Squad by Mariah MacCarthy: So excited for this YA contemporary cheerleader book! Out on March 12.
Did you check out anything from your local library this week?
Oh, what I would give to be a librarian!

O.o there are so many. Do you find that you read them all in a week?

Definitely not! I’ve got piles sitting around that I’m trying to work through. My focus is usually on reading ARCs, so a lot of my library books end up sitting around unread until i finally return them lol

Okay! I was mind boggled that someone could get through so many so quickly, but that make sense. I definitely have done that before. I enjoy seeing all of the books you get.
