TBR Highs & Lows is a meme hosted by Destiny at Howling Libraries(one of my favorite book blogs!), where bloggers feature the books at the bottom of their TBRs (the “lows”) and highlight new additions to the list (the “highs”). Visit Howling Libraries for more info if you’re interested in participating!
Here’s some of the books at the bottom of my TBR (but that I still want to read!):
The Geography of Lost Things by Jessica Brody
I enjoyed The Chaos of Standing Still and would love to read more from Jessica Brody!
Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
This contemporary YA romance sounds so cute and I’m bummed that I haven’t gotten to it yet!
Tumbling by Caela Carter
My friend Hallie @ Book Loaner mentioned this YA contemporary about female gymnasts on her Top Ten Tuesday post recently, and it sounds so good.
Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown
This f/f romance has been sitting on my shelf for months! It sounds really cute so I’ll probably save it for when I need a pick-me-up.
The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill
I spotted this adorable children’s graphic novel at work and now I need to read it!
Here’s what I’ve added to my TBR recently:
Other Words for Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin
Release date: March 12, 2019
This book sounds twisted and spooky, and I’m always looking for books like this to recommend to teens at my library!
The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg
Release date: May 28, 2019
A YA sci-fi about bio-engineering, virutal reality, and murder. I’ve been seeing promising buzz about this one!
Permanent Record by Mary H. K. Choi
Release date: September 3, 2019
I LOVE this cover and am eager to try out another contemporary romance from Mary H. K. Choi!
Some Places More Than Others by Renée Watson
Release date: September 3, 2019
This one doesn’t have a summary yet, but it’s by Renée Watson, which is pretty much all I need to know!
By Any Means Necessary by Candice Montgomery
Release date: October 8, 2019
A boy drops out of college to care for the failing bee farm left to him by his late uncle. This sounds super interesting and I’m excited for another contemporary from Candice!
Are any of these books on your TBR?
The Tea Dragon Society is a fantastic graphic novel! I highly recommend Katie O’Neill’s other ones as well. Great post! 🙂
