“It’s Monday! What are you reading?” is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date. The folks at Teacher Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers have given #IMWAYR a new lens by focusing on books for kids & teens. Check out their blogs to see what they’re reading!
Note: I am an affiliate of Bookshop.org and will receive a small commission if you choose to purchase via the links in this post. This is a way to support indie bookstores & the work I put into this blog! It’s appreciated, but never expected.

- Alondra by Gina Femiajk
- Doodles from the Boogie Down by Stephanie Rodriguez
- Picture Day by Sarah Sax
Reading has still been a bit of a struggle for me lately! This is the most hectic time of the year at work, so I find that when I get home, I’m too exhausted to do anything but zone out in front of the TV. I’m working on finding a better balance and making more time to read though!

- All the Fighting Parts by Hannah V. Sawyerr
- The Weight of Everything by Marcia Argueta Mickelson
- Shakti by S.J. Sindu & Nabi H. Ali
All three of these are books I’m really excited about, so I’m hoping they’ll help get me back on track with reading regularly!
What are you reading this week?

I hope you enjoy these! And I hope you find your reading groove soon.
