“It’s Monday! What are you reading?” is a weekly meme hosted by Book Date. The folks at Teacher Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers have given #IMWAYR a new lens by focusing on books for kids & teens. Check out their blogs to see what they’re reading!
Note: I am an affiliate of Bookshop.org and will receive a small commission if you choose to purchase via the links in this post. This is a way to support indie bookstores & the work I put into this blog! It’s appreciated, but never expected.

As expected, I got very little reading done last week because I was super stressed & busy getting ready for the Summer Reading Challenge at my library!

- Kween by Vichet Chum
- Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko
- Opinions and Opossums by Ann Braden
Summer Reading is officially starting at my library this week, so I’m guessing I won’t get too much reading done this week either! But I’ve started all three of these books and am hoping to finish them.
What are you reading this week?

My library’s in the early planning stages of Summer Reading, I hope it goes well for you! 😀

Good luck with the start of summer reading, Ari—I hope that goes smoothly! I’m glad you were still able to cram in a little bit of reading—Invisible is an excellent read. Thanks so much for sharing!
