Monthly Wrap-Up | February 2022

A green banner designed to look like ripped paper with tape on edges reads "monthly wrap-up." On either side of text is an illustrated image of a stack of books and an orange & white cat winking.

Note: I am an affiliate of Bookshop.org and will receive a small commission if you choose to purchase via the links in this post. This is a way to support indie bookstores & the work I put into this blog! It’s appreciated, but never expected.

How is February over already?! Even though it was a short month, I managed to squeeze in lots of reading! I really leaned into graphic novels this month and discovered so many new favorites.

Young Adult
graphic novels & comics
Format break-down

In February, I read a total of 21 books. Here’s the format that I read them in:

  • 16 were physical books
    • 12 were library books
    • 3 were review copies
    • 1 was a book I own
  • 4 were audiobooks
    • All 4 were checked out from my library via the Libby and/or Hoopla apps
  • 1 was a digital review copy

I want to take a moment to remind you about the legislation currently attacking trans youth in the USA. It is everyone’s duty to find for and protect trans youth. I urge you to check out these action items today and to reach out to your local trans advocacy groups to find out what you can do to help.

Happy reading! Ari
