TBR Highs & Lows is a meme hosted by Destiny at Howling Libraries (one of my favorite book blogs!), where bloggers feature the books at the bottom of their TBRs (the “lows”) and highlight new additions to the list (the “highs”). Visit Howling Libraries for more info if you’re interested in participating!

Here’s some already-released books on my TBR (but that I still want to read!):

Catfishing on CatNet by Naomi Kritzer
I love that this YA book involves a social media site centered on cat pictures!

Power & Magic: The Queer Witch Comics Anthology edited by Joamette Gil
Queer witches is basically my reading brand, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to get my hands on this one!

One Day in December by Josie Silver
This wintery romance novel has been all over bookstagram! Let me know if you’ve read it and what you thought.

This Was Our Pact by Ryan Andrews
I recently heard about this graphic novel after my coworker’s book club read it, and I’ve heard that it has Spirited Away vibes!

Meg & Jo by Virginia Kantra
This Little Women inspired novel was on my TBR but I never had time to read it, so I hope I’ll get to read it down the road.

A Phoenix First Must Burn: Sixteen Stories of Black Girl Magic, Resistance, and Hope edited by Patrice Caldwell

Described as “Evoking Beyoncé’s Lemonade for a teen audience,” this is one I’ll definitely be reading & purchasing for my library.

Eat, and Love Yourself by Sweeney Boo & Lilian Klepakowsky

A comic about a woman with an eating disorder who discovers a mysterious chocolate bar that helps her learn to love herself. This sounds like such a unique story!

A hate to love romance starring a trans teen, with the most gorgeous cover ever!
