“Library Haul” is my weekly post where I share all the things I brought home from the library this week! One of my favorite things about being a librarian is bringing home stacks of exciting new reads: books I snagged as soon as they hit the “New arrivals” shelf, hidden gems I stumbled upon in the stacks, digital books I found on Libby, advanced readers copies that arrived in the mail, and more. Even though I don’t always get through all the reads I bring home, I’m excited to share them!
I don’t have too much this week, because I still have a toppling stack to get through at home!
If You’re Out There by Katy Loutzenhiser: I’ve been on the holds list for this one for weeks, and the library copy was finally ready for me!
The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman, audiobook narrated by Sarah Beth Goer: I’ve been listening to this spooky YA book all week and am almost done with it! It’s dark, atmospheric, and perfect for fans of Sawkill Girls.
Enchantée by Gita Trelease, audiobook narrated by Justine Eyre: Historical and fantasy are two genres that I don’t read much of, but I’m trying to diversify my reading, and I love that this one is a blend of the two genres!
Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, multiple audiobook narrators: I’ve heard rave reviews of this one (well, basically, of anything & everything by TJR!) and I love that this one has a full cast.
All of my audiobooks this week are from the Libby app.
Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan: This YA contemporary is one of my most anticipated 2019 releases, and I was so excited to get my hands on it! Thanks Putnam for the review copy. Out on April 30!
Did you bring home anything from your local library this week?
I’ve heard great things about Devouring Gray and Daisy Jones and the Six. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about them!
