“Library Haul” is my weekly post where I share all the things I brought home from the library this week! One of my favorite things about being a librarian is bringing home stacks of exciting new reads: books I snagged as soon as they hit the “New arrivals” shelf, hidden gems I stumbled upon in the stacks, digital books I found on Libby, advanced readers copies that arrived in the mail, and more. Even though I don’t always get through all the reads I bring home, I’m excited to share them!
The Weight of Our Sky by Hanna Alkaf: I already had the ebook, but decided to switch to the hardcover copy. I’m 50 pages in and loving it!
FTL, Y’all!: Tales From the Age of the $200 Warp Drive edited by C. Spike Trotman: I’ve been on the holds list for months for this graphic novel and it was finally my turn! Yay!
Once Ghosted, Twice Shy by Alyssa Cole: I checked out both the ebook & the audiobook version of this f/f romance novella and am excited to give it a try! It looks fluffy and perfect.
The Midnight Star (The Young Elites #3) by Marie Lu: I’ve been enjoying the audiobooks of this series and am eager to see how it ends!
Both of my audiobooks this week were checked out from Libby by OverDrive.
Patron Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay: One of my mos anticipated reads of the year! I’m part Filipino and am sooooo excited to read this own-voices YA novel about a Filipino-American teen.
Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey: Will I ever get sick of the fake dating trope? Nope! Also, I absolutely love that the main character is a clown! (My grandfather was a clown and I’m always wishing for books about clowns who also live normal lives!)
Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors by Sonali Dev: I’ve been trying out more adult romance recently and I love that this one takes place in San Francisco!
