As every teen librarian probably knows, the movie adaptation of Angie Thomas’s amazing novel, The Hate U Give, is being released this month. The movie is directed by George Tillman, Jr. and stars Amandla Stenberg as Starr Carter. It’s currently playing in select cities and will expand to all locations on October 19.
I made a display to highlight books that fans of the movie (or the book!) will love. This display is also great for teens who see the movie and want to read the book, but need something to read while they’re on the holds list for it.
Want to recreate the display at your library? Download a printable copy of the sign here.
