“Library Haul” is my weekly post where I share all the things I brought home from the library this week! One of my favorite things about being a librarian is bringing home stacks of exciting new reads: books I snagged as soon as they hit the “New arrivals” shelf, hidden gems I stumbled upon in the stacks, digital books I found on Libby, advanced readers copies that arrived in the mail, and more. Even though I don’t always get through all the reads I bring home, I’m excited to share them!
No physical library books for me this week, but all of my digital check-outs and ARCs are super exciting this week!
Forward Me Back to You by Mitali Perkins, audiobook narrated by Soneela Nankani: After meeting Mitali at my library last year, I’ve been wanting to read more from her! I’m eager to start this audiobook next.
Becoming by Michelle Obama, audiobook narrated by the author: After being on the holds list for MONTHS, it’s finally ready for me! I’m hoping that my partner & I can listen to this one together.
The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston, audiobook narrated by Emily Lawrence, Caitlin Davies, & Eileen Stevens: I finished this one super quick after checking it out, and even though I haven’t read Geekerella, I really enjoyed it!
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren, audiobook narrated by Shayna Thibodeaux & Deacon Lee: I’m currently listening to this romance novel, and it’s safe to say that I’m now a Christina Lauren fan!
All of my audiobooks this week were checked out via Libby by OverDrive. If you’ve never used Libby, I highly recommend seeing if you have access through your local library!
Girls on the Verge by Sharon Biggs Waller: After taking this ARC home, I read it in a day because I honestly could not put it down. Thanks Simon & Schuster for the review copy! This one is out now!
The Meaning of Birds by Jaye Robin Brown: I’m currently reading this heartbreaking story that’s half queer love, half grief and am hoping to finish it soon. Thanks HarperTeen! Out on April 16.
When Summer Ends by Jessica Pennington: This one’s already out, but I’m still excited to read this summer romance ARC! Thanks Tor Teen!
Did you bring home anything from your local library this week?
Ah! I didn’t know Mitali Perkins’ newest book was out! Yay~
I’m reading The Bird King by G Willow Wilson. I like it c:

Oh the joys of being a librarian! I get most of my books straight from the publisher, but every once in awhile I hit up my local library just to see what’s there (and to get my name on some holds of course!)
